Never get lost again with the NMK951 Alpine Tool Case Bundle in Steel Finish that includes a internal rotating compass ring. It measures a very wearable 39mm, making it the perfect base for your next field or tool watch build.
Choose from 9 (yes, nine!) internal rotating chapter ring designs and color options, and 2 bezel styles: a classic smooth bezel or a brushed GMT bezel that adds GMT functionality to your build. Don’t forget to explore our matching Alpine dials to complete your set, and pick up extra chapter rings if you're planning to swap them out anytime.

Installation Guide:
The NMK951 features a one-piece construction for the crystal and bezel. To install the crystal and inner rotating compass ring, first place the back of the bezel flat, position the inner rotating bezel ring, and fit the back of the case on top, aligning the four screw holes. Then, secure it with the provided screws. For GMT bezels, ensure that the hour markers are correctly aligned before fastening.

Compatible with NH35/36/70/71 etc and NH34 movements for GMT builds.

I’ve always loved the look and feel of the Seiko Alpinist—especially the original design without the Cyclops, which is harder to find in newer models. I also enjoy tinkering with watches, so getting to build my own version was a real treat. I love wearing it—not just for how it looks, but also because it often sparks conversations that lead to sharing my passion for watchmaking.
That said, I did run into a bit of trouble when I lost one of the caseback screws, which meant I couldn’t wear the watch for months. I searched everywhere for a replacement and finally reached out to Namoki for support. They were super helpful and understanding, and I really appreciated their support.
I highly recommend this casestyle and Namoki. The watch's look is beautiful, and their customer support is top-notch.
External case finishing looks great. That's where the good things end.
Ordered one of these a month ago - came in with the bezel drive gear bent/crooked. The gear broke while attempting to straighten it. While dealing with slow customer service, made the mistake of ordering another full kit to keep the build going. New kit has a straight gear, but the tolerance with the internal bezel is so terrible the feel is grinding gear teeth through half the rotation and nearing slipping teeth the other half. Absolutely atrocious for this price.
The poor rotation and tolerance also has the painting being rubbed off the chapter ring (did this on both kits). Due to how Namoki has foolishly packaged the crystal in tissue paper, resulting in an absurdly high static charge, all this ground off paint dust zaps straight onto the inside of the crystal if the case is empty or gets all inside your movement if the watch is assembled. And, speaking of that packaging - you will NEVER get this crystal clean. Even the cheapest case off AE comes factory cleaned and wrapped so that dust and static isn't an issue. Keep it clean and it stays clean... plan on having this crystal pull in all micro dust particles in a ten mile radius, creating an impossible to remove fine haze.
$170 for this is already criminal. No caseback was pretty unfortunate choice.
Really happy with this case, the perfect base for my 1655/alpinist combination. Well finished, great proportions and very comfortable. The inner bezel has a super smooth rotation that operates like a dream.
The bracelet is a Riyi002 oyster bracelet, a good alternative but the jubilee bracelet I personally have is a good quality one too.
