Long overdue review.
I've been wearing this watch made from this case in the last 2 months. I've got to say, it brings a smile to my face every time.
I'd been in love with the Willard design for quite some time, and namokimods had had nothing but great reviews across all public forums, so decided to pull the trigger.
The quality and finishing is top notch. All parts fit perfectly, and outside of user error, had no issues with it.
Couple of nits... I'm not going to knock the case or namokimods for it as it is personal preference. I wish this case were a little more "pudgy" like the current modern willard lineups, like the SPB151. That is, though this is a Willard case without question, it does seem a bit like a turtle with the willard crown protection.
Again, another nit, and I'm fully aware that this is a 3rd party case... When wearing it on a metal bracelet, I wish that the case could hug my wrist a bit more. Not sure how to achieve this, or if should have bought the slim caseback to achieve this hugging sensation. Funny enough, when wearing it on a NATO, though it doesn't hug me, I do feel like it's more connected to me on the wrist.
Finally an observation, for whatever reason, when I wear this watch on the metal bracelet, it feels a bit top heavy. When wearing it on a NATO, it doesn't.
I'm going to give it a star rating based on the quality of the case, and not my nits and hopes/expectations prior.
