It's important to use this gasket. After installing 2 crystals on the seiko srpe I suspected that the sapphire was a little to high or not sitting properly. I popped out the sapphire to find that there was a small lip on the seiko gasket which stopped the crystal from seating deep enough. I ordered a namoki gasket and refitted the sapphire. This time it was perfect. Sits beautifully now in line with the bezel. Good job namoki! I've ordered a second gasket now the fix the other watch.
