Could have been my favourite…so close.

Honestly - I love this case, size is great, the top hat crystal is lovely and retro, bezel action is smooth and the brushed metal sort of spirals around the front of the case - very cool.

The lume is terrible. I went for blue - which I know is not as bright as green, but this is almost invisible even after blasting with a UV light and standing an a pitch black room. I think the photos on the site make it look pretty bright but this really isn’t a good representation.

Pretty nice Alpinist Case!

Honestly really like the case and quality. Only downside I have is I'm pretty sure the case lugs are a "custom" fit for SELs, doesn't come with caseback for $170, and they couldn't add a cyclops. Other than that, decent. I added my own cyclops.

With 10 being a genuine alpinist, I'd say it's sitting at a 7-8.

Alpinist "case" with flaws

A case without caseback? First time I had such Thing... More Like 2/3 Case in my opinion. Case is also more like 12mm high, even with a slim caseback. The alpinist dial has non removable imperfections/dirt/glue on the indizies. Hands and the part of Case you get are well made though.

Alpinist smooth bezel

Excellent finishing, with a very good polish across the case. The installation is simple and works well with the screws in the back. My only gripe would be I feel it should have had drilled lugs for easier strap changes and an even more tooltastic feel.
